مصحف الثريا

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَيْلٌۭ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍۢ لُّمَزَةٍ ۝١

Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter,

ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًۭا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ ۝٢

Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by,

يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ ۝۳

Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever!

كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ ۝٤

By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces,

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ ۝٥

And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces?

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ ۝٦

(It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze),

ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ ۝۷

The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts:

إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌۭ ۝۸

It shall be made into a vault over them,

فِى عَمَدٍۢ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ ۝۹

In columns outstretched.
